Christmas #1..Schumacher edition

 Justin's "backboard"! ok to explaing this one, we had a competition to compete for an automatic car starter(which was soooo generous! thank you grandpa and grandma!) So Justin represented us as a couple, and competed in the cookie game that is featured in minute to win it! It is not only hilarious to watch, but so much fun to play! you start with a cookie on your forhead and have to get it into your mouth using only your face muscles, and all this has to be done in a minute! Justin won against Keith in the first round of bracket play, went on and lost to pretty auntie katie in the finals.. CONGRATS katie! :) Justin bought me one for Christmas though! so we are still spoiled...or I am... :)

We spent Friday the 17th celebrating Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Schumacher, and it was SO fun, and we didn't want the night to be over, so we ended up staying pretty late, but it's so nice chatting with the family, playing games, and ofcourse, having a few drinks!

                             Waiting to see santa! I kept asking him if he was nervous but, he played it cool!

 This day was the first try to see santa...too long... had a meltdown...

 We thought it was kind of funny that all the other kids were in their special Christmas outfits, and Gunner was is his jersey...we bleed purple.. I think santa appreciated it!

 My boys were so nice they drove me to work in that BIG snow storm... Probably so the could flirt with all the ladies, but Gunner was too pooped when we got there!

 Gunner and I helped papa decorate his tree :) We had a lot of fun having alone time with papa!

Grandpa Schumacher

We went for a visit to grandpa Schumacher and grandma Vicki's house! (where Gunny gets spoiled  rotten and just loves every minute!) He got to hang with Branson too, who he just adores and I assume will someday find some trouble to get into with! Just look at those sweet faces who can just get away with anything......for now.....

Gunners 1st thanksgiving

 Happy Turkey Day! We spent the day at papa Kevin's it was a very relaxing thanksgiving with wonderful  company! we got to see all
Gunny's aunties, uncles and cousins on mom's side!

 Spent some MUCH needed time with auntie Sara, it had been way too long!

                                And ofcourse he LOVED it and LOVED pulling her hair out!

 I think this is where Greta's night took a turn, she first got into some markers, which was acctually really really funny because she just wanted a mustache, I think uncle Luke was the culpret, then she had the munchies for a little desert she helped her self to.........

Gunner was getting sleepy and got to snuggle by abbey and papa before we left :) What a lucky dude!!!

 AAAANNNNDDDD she kept at it, I'm glad I didn't have to change her diapers after thanksgiving diner with Sour cream and onion chips for desert with a green mustache!:) the little stink got us all worried to when she took a nose dive off her chair into  the coffee table! I think all of our hearts sank but she is a tough girl and didn't even have a scratch! WE WERE ALL VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT!

On black Friday, Gunner got to spend time with Grandpa Ron Grandma Vicki, Pretty auntie Katie, and cousin Branson! mom and dad got to do a little shopping, dad almost bought a 73" tv, which I think is totally unecessary but I'm a girl so what do I know? :) He had so much fun and was so happy to spend time with them! I have to get better at taking pictures over there!! They wore him out so much he slept till almost 7am compared to his usual 4:30 or 5! maybe i need to send him over there more often?:) We had a great weekend thank you to all our family!



Naked Baby and New Adventures

 I think every mom is entitled to have a collage of her naked baby for the world to see so.... here it is :)

 ......But I just love being naked soooo much!

 Being that his 6month birthday is just acouple days away, we are trying to conqure the spoon feeding!He was NOT a fan at first but we kept trying and trying and now instead of all of it ending up on his bib, only about half does! He is just eating rice ceral now, but baby food starts this week! Bring on the mushed veggies! :) (and the challange of daring daddy to try them all!)

Full tummied man! He is such a big boy! As of a couple weeks ago he has started  rolling over, which is just so exciting for us! Dad was the first one to see it and I wasn't able to witness it until Thanksgiving at papa's where auntie Mel and cousin greta were there to cheer him on! It seems easy for him when he wants to do it but that is definatly only when he feels like it!
